Yes, an exit popup CAN and DOES save the sale. I have toyed with several in the past that are only supposed to popup when the mouse is placed over the back button… however, all the versions that I have tried also create false popups whenever I moved my mouse anywhere outside of the active window… which I am sure you would agree is pretty annoying if you are simply switching between tabs.
This software has been designed to only present the exit popup when a user actually puts their mouse over the back button. I had time to run a quick test on it and it seems to work! I’ll test it more when I have time and keep you all up to date. I plan to use this on several of my sites, and I know you will too.
